As per notification by DDA, the Delhi Development Authority has eased the norms for installing lifts in its apartment blocks (Roy,2011).
DDA flat owners in denotified areas can approach municipal corporation for No objection certificate or permissions. Our team provides complete solution for lift installation in DDA/CGHS/GH flats. We are an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, certified company & Govt approved company (recommended by Hon’ble Mayor of NDMC) for lift installation of lift in DDA apartments.
Further The Delhi high court also refused to interfere with the new lift policy that doesnot require the people to approach the agency.(The Hindu,2017). Ideally this is the best time to obtain lift NOC, because the SDMC has proposed a hike of upto two lakh rupees, which can be a very costly affair(TOI,2020).
MCD & DDA in suppression of earlier orders have issued simplified guidelines for obtaining N.O.C. FOR INSTALLATION OF LIFTS IN GH/CGHS/SFS/ other flats built by DDA. as under:-

Furthermore, consent from ground floor flat owners is desirable but not mandatory for seeking NOC by applicants.

The policy of lift installation in DDA flats, first notified on May 26, 2011, was subsequently modified on August 3, 2012, the urban body said.
